Spellbinders | Happy By Sharyn Sowell

Hello All,

Today I have collaborated with Spellbinders, with their new collection called Happy Collection by Sharyn Sowell. I have made card sing their beautiful collection. The entire collection is very refreshing.  I decided to combine my mixed media style with fun and whimsy design from this collection. I first die-cut the pcs in black, added small details using a silver marker. I used another beautiful die by Spellbinders featuring Vintage Treasure by Becca Feeken In the end, I added some flowers and twigs to complete the look.

Spellbinders | July 9th Vintage Treasures Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

I am participating today in a blog hop organized by Spellbinders featuring Vintage Treasure by Becca Feeken. You should have arrived here from the super talented and creative, Jean Manis 's blog. If you arrived here on your own, then you will want to start at the beginning, the Spellbinders  Blog so that you don’t miss a thing! We've got tons of inspiration and giveaways for you on the hop today, so keep reading till the end of this post for more information.

For my first card, as I enjoying layering I have used tons of die cuts and paired it with beautiful blooms. I am a primarily mixed media artists which is kinda evident from my work. I have played with layers of die cuts and added paints, sprays and such.
The Shapeabilities regal bandeau topper etched die became a perfect die to give an illusion of crown. Other than this I have used Shapeabilities brillante rondelle etched die.

For my second creation, I have layered two beautiful dies, Shapeabilities marquise diamond pendant etched dies and Shapeabilities antiquities square etched dies.  I am madly in love with the beautiful collection by Becca Feeken. The intricacy and details are mind-blowing. Simply layering two different dies together results in a third design.

Fantasy: Design Team Call

Hi Creative Minds,

This post for is for the Design Team Call held at Fantasy Knives(Dies). I was introduced to these dies by a dear friend Torsa and after that, I totally became a fan of their products. I totally love the intricacy and delicacy of the dies which this company produces. It would be a great honor if I become part of this amazing innovative company.
Few details about me as requested on the blog.

My name is Mallika Kejriwal Bagaria and I am originally from India. I am currently living in Chicago, USA with my wonderful family. I am a software developer by profession and a crafter by passion. I have loved colors, threads, ribbons, papers and such since the age of 5 - I remember making pretty clothes for my dolls as a little girl. I started my journey as a paper crafter and mixed media artist in 2010 when I stumbled across some beautiful crafty blogs while I was looking for some ideas to make a card for a friend's birthday. Ever since then there has been no looking back. I have evolved as an artist. My style is basically very versatile, it runs from cute baby albums to explosion boxes, to shabby chic fabric crafts, to mixed media canvases, DIY altered projects, cards, layouts and many many more. Art is the reason why I have survived in this monotonous life. Because I love teaching art, I have an active YouTube channel (Aola DIY) which now currently boasts 32000 Global Subscribers (Majority India and the USA) and over 3 Million Views. Working for a tech company makes me very tech savvy/computer friendly. I can click very good project pictures, edit professional quality videos/pictures which is evident from my project pictures on all my social media.
